Therapy with Children & Young People

Art therapy is a powerful tool for young people, especially when they find it difficult to put their emotions into words. It offers a safe space for them to express what they’re feeling through creativity, giving them both an outlet and the tools to explore their emotions. As a therapist, I guide and model this process, ensuring that each child feels supported in being their true, authentic self. Art therapy helps to validate their emotions while fostering greater self-understanding and the development of new coping skills.

During our sessions, I may offer prompts or themes tailored to the young person’s goals, along with relevant creative materials to guide the process.

If you are unsure whether art therapy is right for your child, I also offer counselling sessions both in-person and online.
